Quick healthy
kid food that requires Carrot Dragster Who says you can't play with your food! This car will never make it to Daytona but it will disappear quick and put your kid on a fast track to healthy snacking. To us it's a healthy vegetable, to them it's a tasty toy! This project might take you about 10 minutes the first time you do it but you'll cut your time in half by the second lap. Ingredients 2
Raw Carrots 1. Peel skin off 1 raw carrot leaving some of the greens on the end (if there is any) to create the exhaust from the dragster. 2. Cut a groove down the entire legnth for the racing stripe and make a cut out toward the fat end for the cockpit. 3. Fill the cockpit and racing strip with peanut butter. 4. Slice the other carrot cross-wise to create 4 wheels and attach them to the fuselage with a small amount of peanut butter. 5. Place your driver (the raisin) comfortably in the cockpit and see how fast he goes. |
